                                                   The Noble Street Discipline Response

To begin with, The Noble Street Charter Schools are fining their students for infractions and calling it discipline. There are a lot of pro's and con's for this situation. Some of the pro's are as followed. Its easier for teachers to control the kids, more learning time for the kids, the discipline is preparing the kids for the future, pays for the discipline, and gets rid of all the bad kids. These are all a plus in the eyes of the Noble Street Charter School. Kids are being treated like adults now so that they are ready for the future. They also get the titles of  one of the "best" schools with the "best" kids. You can call that an opening for a bright future.

As for the cons, there are also some good ones. They are as followed. The fines are taking money from poor families, CPS gets the bead kids when the charter schools kick them out or having too many fines, fining kids is taking money away from other important things, it promotes failure because the kids are going to start not to care about school, and jail mentality. That greedy school is squeezing money out of these poor kids and calling it discipline. I'm sure the parents of these kids are angry about this as well. Its unfair to not only the students and parents but to CPS as well.

After weighing the evidence, my verdict is that it is a way to force the worst kids on public schools. This is ridiculous, Noble Street Charter Schools are saying their better than us, but that's only beacuse their kicking out all the "bad" kids and sticking them in public schools. So they can say their better when their kicking their kids out. Its ridiculous.  Also, that its breaking families by taking money from other important things like bills and taxes.
